Key Responsibilities
Package Delivery: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers; homes or businesses within designated timeframes, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
Route Navigation: Utilize navigation tools and maps to plan and optimize delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages.
Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including greeting customers, directing any concerns or issues with professionalism and courtesy to the right channels.
Package Handling: Handle packages with care, ensuring that they are securely loaded and unloaded from delivery vehicles to prevent damage or loss.
Vehicle Inspection: Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the safe and reliable operation of delivery vehicles.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with partners, clients, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate delivery activities and address any challenges or issues that may arise.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Adhere to MyCourier delivery policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of packages, use of equipment, and compliance with traffic laws.
Requirements
High School Diploma or College Degree
Must be 25+ years of age
Must possess a G-driver’s licence (1 year or more) and a clean driver’s abstract
Valid work status in Canada (Work Permit, PR, Citizenship)
Willing to consent to a background check and a criminal check
Able to operate smartphone and GPS technology without aid
Prior experience in delivery or logistics is preferred but not required
Able to carry 50 lbs (23 kgs), with or without reasonable accommodation

Key Responsibilities
As a Dispatcher, you execute the routing plan, maintain contact with drivers and control asset utilization. You are the key contact for the day's challenges and ready to make changes in response to emergencies, or to driver performance to support the MyCourier premium customer experience.Prepare next day shift by using the MyCourier delivery tracker (DPI Scorecard)
Monitor daily on-time shift attendance and add details to daily tracker
Ensure all drivers clock-in, safe in the station and wearing required gear, report no shows, replace and communicated to supervisor
Ensure vans enter the pre-launch pad on-time and loading occurs at wave time
Assists drivers in loading vans to hit on time dispatch, report any challenges to supervisor
Complete daily tracker, review fleet inspections and send daily communication
Updates the Supervisor on delivery status including any delays that occur.
Check company assets and update them at the end of day
Support the supervisor in creating the weekly schedule
Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents to revise routes as required
Coordinate driver's weekly schedules, and ensures timesheets
Communicate any on-road issues (accidents/problems) directly with supervisor
RequirementsHigh School Diploma or College Degree
Familiarity with operations / logistics platforms
Must be 25+ years of age
